Livia Almandos as the unit’s new human resource advisor, Aug. 8. Almandos comes from the 162nd Wing in Tucson and brings with her over 18 years of experience in services. She is also a full time federal employee working as a human resources specialist at Davis-Monthan Air Force Base. “I am very excited about his opportunity and to serve the Airmen of the 161st,” Almandos said. “By blending my experience in human resources and my time in the military I hope to complement the already accomplished team of support services this wing has in place for its service members.” The human resource advisor is a unique position to the Guard and supplements the wing staff resources already in place.
