A-10 Refueling Mission

A formation of A-10 Thunderbolt II’s from the 355th Fighter Wing at Davis-Monthan Air Force Base, Ariz., fly behind a KC-135r Stratotanker from the 161st Air Refueling Wing, Phoenix, after being refueled for a training mission over the Barry Goldwater Firing Range, Aug. 2, 2014. The KC-135r aircraft was piloted by members from the 161st Operations Group: Maj. Matthew Bayes, instructor pilot; Capt. John Smith, mission pilot; and 1st Lt. Brodie Johnson, co-pilot. Tech. Sgt.
